Am now back from our Queensland coastal cruise, 7 nights short vacay last month. Took a heap of photos & vids and can't wait to compile into an album. This was our 3rd cruise and shortest one, plus very cheap as I won a $1000 gift voucher from Cruiseabout NZ last year. Legend of the Seas being the smallest ship in the RCL Australian market we spoiled ourselves by purchasing the 4 meal specialty dining package of which one night was at Chops Grille. Our fillet mignot and tuna were cooked perfectly, but even though we didn't rush our dinner we ran out of puff so that desert didn't get a look in again! The following was scrapped using Melidy Designs' new mini kit Believe in Pink a perfect match with my dress, it's so pink and girly!

Got some cool news to share. Melissa from Melidy Designs asked if I would consider coming on board to her creative team and scrap using her latest design kits. Was really easy saying 'yes' to her invite and looks like she got a few new ladies added during her CT call last month. Keep an eye on her blog, she has a new kit releasing this Friday 12 (Europe time) and if you head over to Mousescrappers there's also your chance to participate in a Speedscrap and receive a bonus mini kit to accompany her latest release 'That Hat'.
Has it REALLYbeen 4 years since I last posted here. Where has the time gone... The truth is work and family have taken over and the blog with scrapping has had to take a backseat. Hubby and I have only this year managed a first over-seas holiday in 7 years, flew into Sydney from Wellington for an 11 day South Pacific cruise - also a first! Plenty of good times had and had to book our next for February 2015. According to the countdown only 172 days till embarkation day, just can't wait. Looks like digiscrapping has also suffered a long absence of 3 years, but have opened GIMP of late and started a bit of digiscrapping by participating in weekly challenges at MouseScrappers and it feels I'm riding a wobbly bike, am a bit rusty but finding my feet slowly again. Have dabbled in a speedscrap and a few weekly challenges, sure is gratifying to upload the final results.

We've enjoyed such mild weather until late May, but winter has now really arrived with a very wet & cold vengeance! So started looking around and found this awesome forum MouseScrappers.comtotally dedicated to Disney scrapping with a fantastic gallery and amazing challenges. Couldn't help myself and entered my 1st Challenge and look forward to receiving my participation gift shortly. I'm in the process of getting hold of my own Disneyland photos from before Colin was born back in the early 90s, so have been scrapping Lynn's ones from 2006. All going well our 2 families will go together hopefully in 3 years time, so will end up with a whole heap more to scrap.
